Have you ever heard of Mobile, Alabama? Wait. Don't answer that. It's a 300-year-old city that sits on the Gulf Coast. And it's our hometown. So when the Mobile Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau came to us to promote tourism in our area, we started with a couple of simple truths: Our city is pretty awesome, and nobody knows it.

We packaged this "secretly awesome" brand with a fresh design and focus on helping visitors discover how great our city is. We simplified the user experience on the desktop and delivered a truly unique mobile site, with a GPS voice-guided tour of the downtown area. For an unknown city to claim it is awesome, it's better to show than tell.

The secret to being secretly awesome.

Here's a quick video overview of the new Mobile Bay brand. We took the fresh design, promotional materials and digital toys, and mixed them with moving words and pictures. It's like an epic Michael Bay production, but much shorter.

How we got digital.

Our new website breaks it down real simple like. Go to Facebook for the latest information, events and calendars. Hit the activity finder to discover things to do. If you’re planning a group meeting, there’s a button with your name on it.

A mobile site was also created for people on the go, complete with a GPS voice-guided tour of the downtown area. Mobile Bay has a mobile site. It was destiny.
